About Elyse Leren
I am always a student first. I believe that no matter the level, there is something to learn from everyone. This is why yoga has become my lifetime practice. There is no perfect in yoga but instead a practice, whether physical, mental, or spiritual, each time you show up on your mat. I hope to guide my students through whatever journey they need every class they show up for with alignment for longevity, and clear cueing for fluidity. I believe that whatever is found on the mat can immensely improve our lives off of the mat.
Elyse graduated her 200hour TT and Anjali Restorative training in 2014 with Shannon Paige in Boulder, CO. In 2020, she completed her 300hour TT with Amy Ipolitti. She is also certified in Kriya yoga, myofascial release and barre.
200 Hour Teacher Training
January 10 - March 19, 2023
Tuesday nights, Saturdays and Sundays
You will learn the ancient teachings of yoga blended with a modern take on what yoga is in the Western world for a new perspective.
During these 10 weeks, you will gain tools that will clarify your direction in life and will create confidence in what you do both on and off the mat. Whether you choose to teach or just want to strengthen your personal practice, it is my promise to you that you will graduate prepared for your next step in your relationship with yoga.
I have had the opportunity to practice with Elyse for almost three years now. In person at the studio and on live streams. This August,I attended her day retreat in the beautiful mountains near Nederland, CO where she lead us through a session of yoga, a hike, meditation and journaling. She is incredibly knowledgeable and has helped me grow a deeper connection with myself, practice and community. Elyse truly cares about her journey and the lives around her. I am ever so grateful to have her as one of my guides.
Elyse’s particular magic is her knowledge, warmth, and attention to detail. She creates a peaceful environment that welcomes both the novice and the expert to strengthen their practices in tailored ways. And that voice! So soothing.
Elyse is an amazing yoga teacher. Her classes are always constructed in a way that makes sense, thoughtfully focused, challenging yet attainable. I have attended her classes for years and have really enhanced my practice with her direction. It's not always easy to find creativity, kindness, humor, and diversity in one teacher but she has it all.
