Baked Pasta

Well, everyone on the staff knows so now you can too! I've decided to step down from my roll as Studio Manager. I want to focus more on my business and have time to plan my classes in a special way. I've learned a lot from this position after the last 3 years but am taking the leap to become a "full time" yoga teacher. It will be a kind of work that I've never relied solely on before but I'm ready for the fear and with that, the growth.

Recipe of the Day : Baked Pasta (6 servings)

45 minutes prep and bake time

1 lb pasta of your choice

3/4 jar of marinara sauce

1/2 lb ground turkey

6 oz sharp cheddar cheese

1/4 red pepper thinly sliced

1/4 onion thinly sliced

1/4 cup bread crumbs

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp Italian seasonings

1/2 tbsp celery salt

1 tsp garlic powder

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bring water to boil and empty box of pasta into it. In second pot, place olive oil on the bottom and add cheddar cheese. Once the cheese starts to melt, add the sauce and stir thoroughly. Let simmer. In a pan, place turkey, pepper, onion and seasonings. Cook until turkey is browned and veggies are soft. Drain pasta and pour into baking pan. Mix in meat and veggies then cover with sauce. Add bread crumbs across the top to cover. Bake for 10 minutes and enjoy!
