You die the second you stop being a student in life. The end goal should forever move away from you the more you learn and grow so that your limits are endless. I am humbled and excited every time I step into the studio as a student, whether that's through a yoga class or a teacher training. I finally came to the conclusion that I'm deep down a very happy person. It's the vanity of life, the small stresses, that overtake my innate gratitude. I have an amazing family, a super loving fiancé, the cutest bunny children ever, and really love my job. I live in a state that provides me with nature AND things to do. I have access to healthy, fresh food. But the poison of stress is like the oil on top of the water that is my happiness. What distracts you from being happy?
I'm a month in to being red-meat free. It's something I've wanted to do for awhile but never could give up. I'm a huge animal lover and care deeply about the environment so it only makes sense to not contribute to the meat industry. I'm a future thinker, future seeker. I'm always looking to move forward and conquer. This isn't always a bad thing but does get in the way of living in the moment quite a lot. My boyfriend on the other hand, is very content. Not that he doesn't look to the future, but more enjoys the present. We balance each other out and it really helps both of us live better lifestyles.
